Just found this fantastic brief via Ideastap- it will appeal to all those who love art and drawing!

They are offering a series of five drawing sessions led by Creative Space residents Owen Pomery and Rosie Gainsborough. Each session will cover a classic area of drawing – figure, still life, portrait and urban landscape – with a secondary theme being introduced alongside.

Sounds pretty awesome, doesn’t it?

The WFTV Mentoring Scheme London are searching for women who have more than 5 years experience working in TV, Film, Digital Production or Business roles.

Selected candidates will receive six hours of mentoring contact with an experienced industry figure. They will also be able to attend many seminars, training workshops and networking opportunities.

It’s a great way to expand on your career!

The Video College are offering ‘Final Cut Pro’ training for beginners!

It’s a four day course (18th, 19th, 25th and 26th July 2011), 9.30-6pm.

Aims of the course:
To introduce students to video editing using Final Cut Pro. Give a grounding in the basics of editing from DV tape and back to DV tape.

Required knowledge:
Basic computer skills and preferably an understanding of Mac OS systems.

We also bring you inspirational lyricists, from prolific rap prodigy Kinetic to Wordplay, with his powerful poetics. Add sultry soul sista Honey and inspirational reggae singer Yiserael Immanuel and the Eastside Stories All-Stars and you have the complete package. These artists are unique, but all share the same dream- to go from anonymous to famous.

MIND THE GAP will host a live finals party on Saturday 4th June for 10 hand-picked finalists to showcase their talent to a high-profile panel of music industry professionals, including the director of Lovebox Festival,  DJ Dan Williams plus Warner Music A&R scout

The competition aims to showcase young musical talent in London whilst opening up access to opportunities in the music industry which are not widely available to young people.
